A Christian marriage: Weaving the last
A Christian marriage is woven to last. Have you ever tried to snap a woven rope into two hands naked? If wire mesh is made of fragile, "string" is pretty easy to break. If wire mesh is made of thick and sturdy, it may be possible if only one or two cables. Add a third strand and is almost impossible without cutting the flesh or a bone fracture.
Christian marriage is like a rope strong – if you have three strong cords in place that are closely connected. When a married couple takes Christian wedding vows, there will be a special bond love, hope and faith of a man, woman and God. Married couples make their wedding vows to be faithful to each other and with God throughout his life. As research shows social science, when husband and wife, next to the church, marriages last longer.
There are many encouraging words about marriage in the Christian Bible. The words of Jesus, the writings of St. Paul and other New Testament books offers a model of happiness, permanent bond. For example. In the Gospel of John, the first act of Jesus' ministry was at a wedding. He became a generous amount of water into wine at Cana. Jesus challenged his company to avoid divorce by marriage as a solemn covenant between husband and wife.
You can have a lasting, loving relationship with your spouse. If you are engaged and preparing for marriage You can lay any foundation that will last a lifetime. Weaving the rope of three cords with faith, hope and love will bring the blessings of marriage you, your family and everyone who witnesses their marriage.
The first bead of marriage is faith. Expressing faith in their marriage, faith in themselves and faith in the presence of God. Faith is the basis for a long and happy marriage. Show and live their faith by how they relate to your spouse. As they grow in a relationship Christian marriage with your spouse and with God, to build self-confidence as a married couple.
Christian pastors and marriage counselors agree that the marriage the relationship. Being in a relationship is sharing. Tell your partner your feelings and thoughts in person or in writing. Pray alone, to pray together. As individuals, both Spouses have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And, as a couple, you and your spouse live targets Christian marriage, pray together.
The second string marriage is hope. Hope is the expectation that it is not now, you will realize the experience and a day. Hope is based on faith and trusted that " God all things are possible. "
In contemporary American society, the divorce rate of first marriages is 55%. It is an act of hope to imagine a lasting relationship in Christian marriage a lifetime. You can resort to the practice of hope to maintain their Christian marriage vows. Do this by using a power supply of God to strengthen their relationship.
In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul wrote: "Now to Him who is able to accomplish much more than all we ask or think, by the power that worketh in us … "Jesus gives the power to have a lasting marriage of love, joy, kindness, peace, happiness and services. Being sure that Jesus is risen and present to you and your spouse as a third partner.
You know what the third string of marriage? If you say you love, you have reason. Love is the latest sign of a healthy marriage for a lifetime. A marital relationship is the highest calling of Christ's teaching about love. Consider the words of Chapter XIII of the First Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians. "Love is patient and kind … Love rejoices with the truth. Love always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres everything. Love never fails. "
Love is the work of faith – to believe in all things. Love the flowers of hope for all perishables and persevering. Love is the power of God in their marriage relationship that brings joy, peace, security and happiness.
Make your life with an example of love Christ has for the Church. Witnessing spouse, family, church and society. In Christian marriage, you and your spouse are the light of the world for those who want more meaning, love, faith, hope and their lives.
